Pickup checklist
For shippers, warehouses and receivers: confirm the driver, the truck and the paperwork before you release a load. Print it for the dock.
These free tools are here to help you make your own decisions, not to make them for you. They show what public records say, and records can be wrong, out of date or missing. A warning sign doesn't mean a company is doing anything wrong, and no warning signs doesn't mean it's safe. Always verify before you dispatch, book or release a load. Terms of Use

Before you dispatch or release a load
- Look it up. Check the carrier or broker by MC or USDOT number in the lookup, FMCSA SAFER and Licensing & Insurance records.
- Call back on the phone number in the official record, not the one in the email or text.
- Verify on a second channel before you hand over freight or change payment details.
- Slow down if you are being rushed. Pressure is part of the scheme.
